Sashi De, host of Maximum Foodie is in Hanoi to understand what the Vietnamese eat on a daily basis. He’s bounced around on scooters, exploring war memoriabilia found throughout the city, learned the story of Vietnamese egg coffee, now he’s on a mission to find out WHY the Michelin Guide has yet to come in Vietnam. After a drink at the fabled Sofitel Metropole Legend Hanoi’s chic bar, Angelina, he heads out with a group of French expat chefs to learn more about the Vietnamese pallete. Lastly, Sashi needs to get HANDS ON with his food. So, he hooks up with his friend Anna and together they hit the market to buy local ingredients. With Anna’s guidance, they whip up a traditional Vietnamese meal!
