The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is still strong and kicking in Disney World and have opened up more booths! So let’s go try some things that I typically gag at..
We started off at the Hawaii booth to eat some SPAM sushi which might sound strange to some, and it is! But it was actually pretty tasty. Next we moved into the French pavilion to try some of my arch nemesis, escargot. I’ve had this before but never was actually seeing what I was eating until now. I probably won’t try them again lol.
But my worst dish of the evening came from Japan, sadly. In the form of takoyaki, which is very popular in Japan but not in my heart. I just don’t like things that taste fishy. Oh! and we got to catch the drummers in the pavilion for the first time since they’ve returned!
We saw a few performers throughout world showcase along the way before we finally ended up at Coastal Eats where I tried oysters for the very first time. I was surprised with how good the dish tasted but I would probably be hesitant to eat them plain..
There was a rain storm so we took a ride on spaceship earth before heading out. Looking forward to returning to try some more things!
