Cole Cellars Pinot Noir from California is a top-quality Pinot Noir made from 2 single vineyards. It is farmed by multi-generational, family-owned estates and made with sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural practices. Half the grapes come from a single vineyard in Mendocino which is located alongside the upper Russian River Valley. This vineyard is grown organically on sandy loam soils The second half the grapes come from a single vineyard in Lodi. Here cool breezes from the Sacramento river delta temper the vines.

Vinification: Both wines were made separately by a traditional warm fermentation and pumped over to extract color and flavor. After pressing the wine went through a full malolactic fermentation. This creates a smooth & velvety texture. It is partially aged in French oak to add complexity and spice. The final wines were finally blended before final filtration and bottling.

Tasting notes: The aromas of fresh fruits including cherries, raspberry & baking spices. The flavors are round, deep, and robust with generous fruit, elegantly balanced & soft velvet tannins.
