Tolday’s episode is about an easy madelienes recipe. Madeleines are traditional small cakes northeastern region of France. They are very small sponge cakes with a distinctive shell-like shape acquired from being baked in pans with shell-shaped depressions.

Ingredients you will need:
½ cup unsalted butter
2 large eggs, room temperature
½ cup white sugar
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup plain flour
¼ tsp baking powder
pinch salt
Bake at 170 C
