Welcome back to the simple spells for the home playlist today I’m going to share something near and dear to my heart with you it is July 22nd 2022 and it is the Feast of Mary Magdalene day.
I’ve recently learned about Mary Magdalene through Kyle Gray’s cards here that you can see are on my Altar and I found a spell in the encyclopedia of spell books that honors Mary Magdalene and is an independent spell for women at the same time!
So I have mashed all this information together and gone with my instincts because I just feel since I’ve learned about her I feel so very connected to know more about her and to ask her to come in and guide and to honor her she is listed as the patron saint of women so it’s a beautiful beautiful thing!
we’re going to use a white candle and it says offer Mary Magdalene myrrh and spikenard and a glass of Gillian or French wine so
my instinct here was to offer frankincense and myrrh so I feel like we’re on the right track here and I’m just gonna go with what I know I’ve got essential oil there I have my white candle here and I am going to bring in my dish of salt it is just a little um foil cup there out of the baking section I’m going to stick my actually what I’m going to do first is I’m going to drip a couple of essential oil drops on this salt there we go I’m also going to put a drop on my finger and anoint the candle with it in honor of Mary Magdalene all right
now as always with spells I like to use birthday candles because they’re nice and efficient they get the job done today I burn a white candle for you and I offer you frankincense and myrrh
so I’ve been very drawn to Mary Magdalene since I first heard of her and met her through this beautiful deck here she makes sense to me hearing her name gives me a calming and so I’m on this beautiful adventure of learning more about her and I just feel a very very strong connection I Can’t Tell You Why look at our singing bowl was even red so I’m not taking this from a religious standpoint this is a very Universal energy standpoint that I feel this connection on um
with that being said I have read the the passages and understand her story in in the Bible um but I don’t have the same applications in this honoring as that this is something um I feel called to do from woman to woman and I feel very connected to this spirit guide um so I think since the experience that I’ve had in my guided meditations with meeting different Spirit energies of the universe that time where I actually had the opportunity and I met the spirit energy of Jesus and he was there with the spirit energy of my dad and it was the only way I would have um believed that both of those things were happening at the same time and since then I received several several several signs from the universe from the energy of God from the energy of Jesus and so for my interpretation here today is on an energetic level and I just feel so connected because I have met that energy of Jesus Christ and so with that honor and that knowing that Universal energy is about and it’s there I cannot deny it and so I feel very connected maybe to Mary because of that shared experience of seeing Jesus energy in that form so my Intrigue with her is to learn more about her and to have honored her in this way because of a shared experience that we have and it’s like we’re friends you know when you when you meet somebody you’re like oh hey I have that in common too and now we’re friends and so that’s the feeling that I get from Mary Magdalene here on my Altar and why I honor her is that I just feel that Spirit connection that Universal energetic connection to her.
