After our previous days at the theme parks and exploring Port Orleans French Quarter (and Riverside), we slept in a little on our check out day and took all of our bags back to the car and then attempted to get a late breakfast from the Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory. Because they had just transitioned over to their lunch menu, we instead decided to have a quick snack from the McDonald’s on property (near Animal Kingdom), and then head over to the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for the Balloon Wonderland event benefitting Give Kids The World! We were briefly impacted by the rain, but made it into the event nonetheless, and had a fantastic experience! Afterwords, we got a late lunch from Earl of Sandwich, picked Arlo up, and then went back home (where I ended up showcasing the rest of the process to make my beer). This was an incredibly relaxing staycation that we had together, and we would go back to Port Orleans without hesitation! Thanks for watching and I’ll see you soon!
