⭐ INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS ⭐
Yield: 2-3 servings
Gluten Free
Prep time: 5-10 minutes
Cook time: 30-35 minutes (mostly unattended)
Quick Glance List of Ingredients:
2-3 large potatoes, cut into thin fries
3/4 teaspoon oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
1. Pre-heat the oven at 435ºF (225ºC) with only the top of the oven on (the broiler), and move the oven rack one notch above the middle of the oven.
2. Dry the fries with paper towels and place them on a parchment lined, shallow baking sheet.
3. Toss them with the oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
4. Scatter them across the baking sheet without overcrowding the pan, and bake in the oven for 25 minutes or until you see that they’ve turned lightly golden and are crispy on the first side.
5. Remove from the oven and flip the fries. Return them to the oven for 5 -10 minutes or until golden and crispy, checking every few minutes to ensure they aren’t burning as all broilers are different. Serve immediately and enjoy! These are especially delicious as the “chips” to our fishy tofu and chips recipe.
