Apple Pie French Toast by @healthyholylife
Treat yourself to this high-fiber high-protein vegan breakfast idea that is truly very easy to make but looks so fancy 🤍!
For the batter mix
150ml (vegan) milk
1 tbsp ground flaxseed
1 tbsp vegan vanilla protein
cinnamon
vanilla extract
Fry one very finely chopped apple with cinnamon & water until soft. Then mash it a little bit with a fork. Tost two slices of your favorite bread (I used sourdough).
Spread the soft apples onto one slice of the toasted bread and cover with the other slice. Dip sandwich into the batter and then fry on low to medium heat on both sides. Make sure not to burn it.
