In this video we explore a wine from one of the most overlooked categories in wine, white wines from Bordeaux. Not only is Bordeaux cool, the white wines are sublime and still a great value today.
We are used to seeing red wines from this region and I find that most people won’t even pick up a bottle of white wine with Bordeaux on the front label. Maybe it is because they don’t know what grapes are in the wine, maybe it is because they think that the wine is for old folks who are dressed up for a formal dinner. Wrong!!!!
White Bordeaux is made with a blend of sauvignon blanc and semillon grapes and yield fresh, punchy white wines with a velvety texture.
Go find some of these wines, you won’t be disappointed.
