LOMO SALATADO⤵️
DISCLAIMER: not authentic but still good🤤
MARINADE
1.5 lbs beef, thinly sliced or cubed
3 cloves minced garlic
1.5 TBSP soy sauce
ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS
1 large purple onion, cut into chunks/ squares
8 cloves minced garlic
5 roma tomatoes, cut into wedges, seeds removed
French fries
SAUCE:
6 TBSP low sodium soy sauce
1.5 TBSP red wine vinegar
1.5 TBSP oyster sauce
2 tsp corn starch
1 TBSP sugar
1.5 TBSP aji Amarillo Paste*
* I did not use any of this in my recipe because I didn’t have any and it still turned out amazing!
1. Thinly slice your beef and marinate with the ingredients listed under “MARINADE” (marinate for at least 10 mins)
2. After 10 minutes, give your beef a quick sear, remove from heat and set aside.
3. Mix all the ingredients under SAUCE and set aside.
4. In the same skillet or new one, heat up some oil and sauté purple onion for 1 minute then add 8 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
5. Then add your seared beef, cooked french fries, and your SAUCE that you mixed together from step number 3. Give this a good mix.
6. Lastly, add your tomatoes and turn off heat.
7. Enjoy with Aji sauce and rice🙂
