James Erskine from Jauma Wines in Adelaide Australia talks about how consumer demand for natural wine is changing the way the rest of the wine world thinks.
Jauma is one of the pioneers of Australian, natural wine. Jauma farm is located on Peramangk/Kaurna land in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. They farm 10 varieties of cherries and the following vine varieties; chenin, savignan, traminer, cabernet franc and gruener veltliner. Their non-estate grapes come from McLaren Vale and are farmed by Fiona Wood and Dave Gartelman. All their wines are organic, bottled under crown seal and contain no additions or subtractions.
