Amazing, very rare, set of two antique water or wine pitchers from Northern France, crafted, circa 1900-1920.
Each pitcher, called “maitre d’hotel” (or butler), features a pig dressed as a waiter and seated on a chair. It is known as the ‘Maitre d’Hotel’ with a wine bottle tucked under one arm.
They have such wonderful facial expressions!
