Talk about a crazy story, the background behind the Le Cigar Volante wine is fascinating. There are some wild people in Chateauneuf du Pape that inspired Randal Grahm to name this wine accordingly. He is a bit of a character himself but you cannot argue the success his winery has had.
The first release of the Bonny Doon Le Cigar Volante was in 1984 and it has become an American favorite over the years.
