In this video I prepare Fannie Farmer’s recipe for Spinach (French style).

Recipe:
Pick over and wash one peck of spinach, and cook in boiling salted water 25 minutes. Drain and finely chop. Reheat in hot pan with four tablespoons of butter to which have been added three tablespoons of four and 2/3 c. chicken stock. Season with one teaspoon of powdered sugar, salt, pepper and a few gratings of nutmeg and lemon rind.
