I’ve used my leftover matcha hot cross buns from last week’s recipe video, but you can use any flavour you like – and, of course, you can serve your French toast hot cross buns with your favourite toppings. Here I’ve served them with frozen yoghurt, berries and maple syrup. But ice cream, chocolate sauce, Nutella, Biscoff etc are all delicious alternative options.
