Ridolfi rises on the north-east side of the Montalcino hill at 300 meters above sea level near the
famous Brunello road, in the heart of Tuscany.
We grow and produce wine exclusively from our vineyards with the mission of translating the fruit that nature gives us into wine. Long-aged Sangiovese clones populate the vineyards
which extend for 13.5 hectares to Brunello di Montalcino,
1Ha in Rosso di Montalcino and 6.5Ha IGT.
Respect for the land is an essential value for Ridolfi.
The work in the vineyard is totally manual and is carried out following the dictates of organic farming
and biodynamic. The extreme quality of the grapes allows us very long macerations: at least 60 days on the skins. The goal is to obtain color, aromas and polyphenols in a natural and gentle way through delestage and pumping over.
The wines are aged in medium-large size barrels with woods originating from the Slavonian and French forests. The philosophy is to elevate the wines to achieve the maximum of territorial expressiveness.
