We have time in Metz until our 8:30pm Flixbus to Strasbourg. A leisurely lunch at TAVERNE KARLSBRÄU LES RELAIS D’ALSACE ( included the specialty of the region – Flammeküeches! They are called Tarte Flambe in French and we thought they were delicious. Just don’t call them pizza (Tim!).
Our Metz bus stop pickup was a bit worrisome so we were relieved to see the big lime green bus pull around the corner. Thank Goodness it’s so easy to see!
We address dining out in France and clear up something Amy messed up the other day. Food in France is not much more expensive than similar food in the US. The options may be different, though. And, one more error for Amy…we visited France 3 times in the past 4 years, not 2 years. Oy!
Looking forward to discovering the beauty and history of Strasbourg tomorrow. Please join us!

We retired early (in our 40s) after reducing our expenses by $6,500 a month. Now, our big splurges tend to be travel and health-related versus stuff.
Please check out our other videos! Some are about our traveling adventures, others are about out new(er) life of FIRE (financially independent, retired early) and financial freedom.
