This recipe has great flavors and one of my favorite soups. Very easy to make with simple ingredients, that makes 6 to 8 servings. A must share if you like it.
– 6 to 7 medium large yellow onions
– 2 tablespoons olive oil
– 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 tablespoon flour
– 1/2 cup red sherry
– 4 to 5 sprigs of thyme
– 2 cups beef stock
– 4 cups chicken stock
– Baguette cut into 1/4 in thick
– 1 clove of garlic
– 1 tablespoon butter
– Gruyere cheese grated
– Swiss cheese grated
– havarti cheese grated
