Winter in France can be bleak so we needed an escape. With this in mind we decided to pack light and travel far. A bikepacking adventure was in order to somewhere where the sun would be shining. We looked at a map of France and decided our destination would be Marseille. We plan to take four days to reach our final destination. Part one of this trip sees us pack up and leave our home base in the Pyrenees, traveling through Carcassone on our way to Narbonne. Follow along to see how our day turned out.
