The legendary Islay Master Distiller , Jim McEwan, introduces Dramfool’s Jim McEwan Signature Collection.
The Jim McEwan Signature Collection is a series of 27 single cask bottlings comprising of Bruichladdich, Port Charlotte and Octomore drawn from Jim McEwan’s private collection and bottled by Dramfool.
In this video the Islay legend explains the first edition bottlings that have all been matured in French wine casks from revered Châteaux.
The whiskies are:
1.1 Bruichladdich 2007, First Fill Bordeaux barrique, 13 Year Old, 61.8% ABV.
1.2 Port Charlotte 2007, First Fill Bordeaux barrique, 13 Year Old, 60.9% ABV.
1.3 Octomore 2007, First Fill Sauternes barrique (Premier Cru Supérieur cask)n 13 years, 57.5%.
