We recently stayed in the most beautiful bed and breakfast in Bissy-sous-Uxelles, South Burgundy, France. A quaint village surrounded by super lush farmland in Burgundy wine country. A centuries-old traditional homestead and farm that has been within the family for generation upon generation for as many years [Perhaps the Gypsy in us finds this astonishing. That a home can be within the same family for like 500years?!? 🤯]. Super kid-friendly [always a bonus staying somewhere historical] with a swing, sandpit and farmland to explore. And goats cheese lovers… if you plan your stay right you can enjoy their own cheese made at the farm! History, wine, cheese… need we say more!
⠀
This area is pretty rural so you will most probably, definitely need a car. ⠀
