Dallas and Dripping Springs will be included in the WineTech niche strategy lead by AndesWines.com

Dallas and Dripping Springs will be included in the global strategy that will launch the WineTech concept that was expected to be done in 2020 but due to the coronavirus pandemic, was delayed for two years, all lead by AndesWines.com

This initiative was created after the research of rescue old vineyard directed by the Agricultural Engineer from Chile, Max Morales that was published in Bloomberg.com, in the report Seven ways wine will change in 2019:

The main focus of this challenge is to integrate the Agriculture-Fintech-Wine-E-commerce related startups from Texas to be accelerated by following the methodology AndesWines.com created, that’s why will participate in the Dallas Open Coffee organized by Capital Factory this Tuesday 11 in downtown Dallas.

Therefore AndesWines.com began to look for a University that imparts Enology or Viticulture in Dallas area to deliver an exclusive master class on the subject that will be open to the public, particularly winemakers, wine lab technical, winery owners and winemaking students.

Max Morales, the former Wine Specialist of National Geographic Explorer Expedition Ship and guest writer of Decanter.com and PerfectDailyGrind.com (coffee) will be in Dallas area from 11-14 January 10-14 to explore vineyards, wineries and meet winemakers to write a story on the local wine for wine media.

Max Morales studied a Diploma in innovation in University of San Francisco and after that, created a methodology that was adapted to the Chilean wine industry by leading a private-public project to establish the challenges of climate change, new varieties y wine terroirs based on the existence of over 30.000 hectars of old vineyards in the Maule-Aysen regions.

This interest arose after a talk that Morales gave at the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science of UC Davis, in California to winemakers and academics at the end of 2017, which will be replicated in Spain in 2022. It was called “History of Ancient Vineyards, Rescue Old Vine Projects in Chile”

The old vineyard rescue methodology developed by the agricultural engineer and wine marketing consultant is focused on creating a new wine category for local wineries and also, if the producer is in a wine tourism area, the winery can execute a project to attract wine lovers.

As a record, Max Morales has been leading a private investigation of the vineyard establishment for 20 years since the arrival of the Spanish, French and Italians in different periods of history in Chile and America since 1551.
