Blanquette de Boeuf | French Beef Stew is a variation of the classic french kitchen veal stew Blanquette de Veau. The recipe is basically identical, except we’re using beef instead of veal. The dish becomes somewhat darker and You have to cook it slightly longer. But it’s just as good, if not better, so enjoy! These are the ingredients:
1kg / 2lbs of beef
1 bottle of dry white wine
1 large onion
2 carrots
Some mushrooms
Garlic to taste
1 stock cube
2 tablespoons of flour
Butter
Sour cream
1 egg yolk
Salt, pepper
