For today’s menu, we are making a French classic: a hachis parmentier, which is a kind of beef and mashed potato casserole.
We’ll start with a fresh carrots and radish salad, and finish with a DELICIOUS dessert! Another French classic: the Clafoutis. Most clafoutis are made with cherries, but we are making ours with blueberries today. So good!

Fruits and vegetables:
– 3 carrots
– a bunch of radishes
– fresh rosemary, parsley and mint
– 1 shallot
– 5 potatoes
– 500 grams of blueberries
From your fridge:
– 1 pound of ground beef
– 220 ml of cream for the cake + 40 ml for the mashed potatoes
– tomme de savoie
– 3 eggs
– 30 grams of butter
From the pantry:
– Olive oil, salt and pepper, nutmeg, cumin
– apple cider vinegar
– ½ cup of white wine or cooking wine
– ½ cup of breadcrumbs
– 70 grams of flour
– 135 grams of sugar
– some confectioners sugar to dust the cake
