Follow below steps to prepare perfect & easy French Fries at home:
~Peel off Potato skin (Starch Potatoes preferably), wash them & cut into even pieces.
~Add the pieces to cold water and remove starch. ~Wash them for 2-3 times & put them in cold water for 5 minutes.
~Take required quantity of water in a bowl and boil on high flame, add salt in water & transfer potato pieces from cold water to hot/boiling water.
~Let it cook for 3-4 minutes, then remove pieces from hot water & put them on kitchen towel in a plate and spread/separate properly so they can be dried and cooled down.
~Once pieces are cooled, transfer them to zip lock cover or freezer safe bowl & freez it for 3-4 hour’s. (The same can be freezed upto 15 days long and fried as & when needed)
~After 3 hour’s, fry the freezed pieces in very hot oil, Adjust flame to medium while frying and fry them until they are 50% fried. Take it into a plate and cool them down for few minutes.
~After few minutes, fry them for 2nd time and now fry until they are completely/100% fried. Can sprinkle salt while frying them for 2nd time (If salt is not added while boiling water).
~Once Fries are ready, transfer them into plate containing of tissue paper to absorb oil and serve with peri peri or tomato ketchup.🍟😋
