The French 75 is celebratory cocktail with a punch. My spin on the classic adds pomegranate and elderberry liqueur for a depth of flavor that will surely get the party started.

Ingredients:
1/2 ounce pomegranate juice
¼ ounce lemon juice (1 ½ teaspoons)
1/2 ounce elderberry liqueur or simple syrup
1 ounce congac or gin
ices cubes
2-3 ounces champagne, chilled (or other sparkling wine)
pomegranate seeds
rosemary sprigs

Instructions:
Place champagne glass into the freezer to chill right before serving.
In a cocktail shaker, add ice, cognac or gin, st. germain, pomegranate juice and lemon juice. Cover and shake until completely chilled (about 10 seconds).
Remove glasses from the freezer and strain the cocktail into prepared glass, then top off with champagne.
Garnish with pomegranate seeds and rosemary springs. Serve.
