Classic French Vanilla Souffle Recipe
There is famous French saying: Le soufflé n’attend pas, on attend le soufflé. Meaning le soufflé doesn’t wait, we (the guests) wait. But today We will not wait for le soufflé, we will make the soufflé.This easy souffle recipe is so easy to prepare. Souffles are the kind of dish you wanna prepare whenever you want to impress with your cooking skills. Even though many are hesitating to prepare them at home they are really not a big deal, and the process is really easy.
This is classic French vanilla soufflé. Well risen. Golden brown top, pale yellow inside. The texture is mousse like and very delicate. we share the recipe with you, we hope you will enjoy.

▶ Ingredients

4 egg yolks
Sugar 30g
Flour 25g
Unsalted butter 35g
Milk 1cup
Vanilla extract 1/2 tsp
Meringue (4 egg whites + 40 g sugar)

Mold size: 8cm x 5.5cm

▶ Procedure

1. Leave the butter at room temperature and apply it to the mold, then coat it with sugar.
2. Mix egg yolk and sugar, sift the flour and mix.
3. Put butter and milk in a pan, boil until the butter melts, and lower the heat.
4. Pour (3) in (2) little by little, mix it, put it in a saucepan and lightly thicken it.
5. Transfer to another bowl, stir, cool until lukewarm, add about 1/3 of meringue and mix.
6. Transfer (5) to a bowl of meringue and mix gently.
7. Put the dough in the mold, flatten the top surface, bake for 10 minutes at 190 degrees, and then bake for another 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
8. Sprinkle sugar powder and eat when it is warm.
