Ingredients
250 gms paneer/cottage cheese
1 large red bell pepper
1 large yellow bell pepper
1 large green bell pepper
1 large sized onion
Marination
200 gms hung curd
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/4 tsp ajwain
2 tsp kashmiri red chili powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp chaat masala
juice of half lemon
1 tbsp mustard oil
1 tbsp butter for brushing
Salt to taste
Garnish
Mint leaves
Onion slices
Lemon wedges
Method:
– Cut the Paneer into thick dices, also cut the capsicums and onions into quarters
– In a bowl add curd, red chili powder, chaat masala, salt to taste, mustard oil, turmeric powder,ajwain, ginger garlic paste and juice of half lemon and mix it properly
– Add the slices of onions, peppers and paneer into the marination paste and leave it aside for 15 minutes
– Place the paneer and veggies into the skewer
– Heat some oil and butter and place the paneer tikka sticks and keep turning them until they cook from all the sides.
– Paneer Tikka is ready to be served!
