CHRISTMAS RECIPE : PANETTONE FRENCH TOASTS WITH EGGNOG & CHERRY COMPOTE

Eggnog Ingredients:
2 whole Eggs
1 cup Milk
½ cup Heavy cream
1 tsp Vanilla extract
⅓ tsp Nutmeg
⅓ cup Sugar
a pinch of salt

Cherry Compote Ingredients:
2 cups Fresh/ frozen Cherries
1 tbsp Honey
2 Star Anise
1 Cinnamon stick
⅓ cup water

Toast Ingredients:
4 slices Panettone bread cut 1½ inch thick and sliced into halves
2 tbsp Butter melted
