Welcome to Part 7 of our cycle tour from Dublin to the French Pyrenees. In this episode we swap out the Eurovelo 1 cycle route for the Eurovelo 3, incorporating one of the most scenic cycle paths in France (according to us). This trail was delightful with shady green forest lining the path, a loooooong lit up old rail tunnel and then of course vineyards!
Being in Bordeaux wine country we were never too far away from a vineyard or cellar door, although curiously none seem to be open? We set up camp for three days in a campground just outside of Saint-Émilion and were keen to discover the sights of this beautiful region.
