The Whiskey Crusaders will be joined by Austin Ponton from the Westland Distillery to perform The Judgement of Westland which comprises of us ranking 4 single malts from around the world 1 to 5 stars. Each whiskey could be a 5 Star whiskey so its possible that all 4 will be 5 stars in fact. Each will be a single malt that hails from Westland, Scotland, India, and Australia. This will be a similar event to the Judgement in Paris in 1976 that saw for the first time California wine compete and beat French wines in blind judging contests. We will also be doing a Westland Masterclass after the event covering Westland’s history, their standard American Single Malt, the new Outpost Range Colere 1st Edition, and the unreleased Garryana 6.1 whiskey. We will be joined around the local area by over 50 other Crusaders who have been given the same kits to join us in this historical tasting event.
