I love great food, and Mexico is known for having a vast array of exceptional food options. However, before moving to Queretaro, I didn’t think I liked any Mexican food. But, that was because of Mexican food in the United States. Authentic Mexico food is different than you’d expect; this is a great video to help you expand your palette beyond nachos, burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, soft and hard shell tacos.

This vlog includes my favorite spot for Oaxacan food, French food and el pastor tacos in the city of Santiago de Queretaro Mexico. And, although I went there, I do not mention Sonora Grill because it’s been done time and time again. And, in my opinion, it was a bit over rated. If you’re afraid of Mexican street food vendors… no worries, this video does not include any street vendors in Mexico. Lastly, although I love pastries (dulce pan), I did not mention any bakeries in the Queretaro, because my culture shock would not let allow me find the perfect one. There are some food you just simply cannot leave Queretaro Mexico without trying. And, today i’m sharing my top favorite foods I’ve had since living in Mexico as an American expat.
