Ingredients
Potato – 3 nos
Oil for deep frying
Corn flour – 1 tbsp
Chili Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Salt – 1/2 Tsp
Garlic Powder – 1/2 Tsp
Method:
1. Wash and peel the potatoes
2. Cut the potato vertically into thick pieces
3. In a pan boil the water as required (1 liter), now add the potatoes in the boiling water
4. Cook the potatoes till ¾ done.
5. Drain on an absorbent paper. Set aside to cool to room temperature.
6. Now pat dry these French fries with a clean cloth and then place them in freezer for 30 minutes, so that they cool down.
7. In bowl, add the freeze potatoes, Corn flour, Garlic Powder, red chili powder, garam masala and salt, mix well and Let it rest for 10 minutes.
8. Heat some oil for deep frying on low flame
9. Slowly drop the potatoes into the oil and oil blanch the potatoes for about 10 minutes
10. Fry until golden & crispy.
11. Take the potatoes out from oil
12. Serve the fries hot with ketchup.
