Epcot- France Pavilion, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and La Creperie de Paris! Join us for an exciting trip to Epcot as we explore all things French! The France Pavilion in the World Showcase boasts beautiful scenic buildings, fountains, a garden, and the Eiffel Tower! With the addition of the new Ratatouille ride, the Pavilion has even more to offer. We have discovered some delicious treats at Les Halles over the years- the strawberry tart is a favorite. Someday we will have ice cream at L’artisan des Glace ice cream parlour (they are always closed when we stop by it seems). There are a few small shops to explore with lovely Parisian-themed merchandise. Marie fans will find some adorable unique items. There are also Beauty and the Beast, Remy, as well as Mickey and Minnie items throughout the shops. No visit to France would be complete without wine and perfume. The Beauty and the Beast Singalong is an adorable retelling of the classic tale from the perspective of Gaston’s sidekick LeFou. We recommend adding this to your must-do list. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure opens officially on October 1st as part of the 50th Anniversary celebration. We were able to attend the passholder preview on 9/6. The beautiful fountain featuring Remy is centered outside of the ride. This is the perfect setting for photo ops. Pay attention to the theming- the window decor and even the manhole covers pay homage to the movie. The queue for the ride adds to the experience with the rooftops of Paris and animated Chef Gusteau. We enjoyed being shrunken down to rat size and joining Remy as we raced around the restaurant and dining room. La Creperie offers both indoor dining and quick service options. Since this was our first visit we wanted to enjoy the indoor experience. We tried three dessert crepes and they were all amazing! Next time we will plan on ordering from the prix fixe menu so we can try a starter and a galette too. Remy merchandise can be hard to find but with the new ride, there are a number of souvenirs and collectibles available. We bought more than our share- Remy ears, a talking Remy plush, a mini Remy ride vehicle, and remote control Remy. Disney thinks of everything! We are so glad you could “be our guest” and we thank you for joining us. Onward to our next adventure!
