Thousands of Europeans took to the streets of France, Italy and Greece on 24 July, demonstrating against newly imposed coronavirus restrictions and compulsory vaccination policies
In France, nearly 160,000 protesters expressed anger against President Emmanuel Macron along with the government of Paris and other major French cities
The new bill passed by the lower house of Parliament, angering people. Is known as the “Green Pass” which will be mandated from August 6
Italians, French, Greek people will need the certificate to partake in indoor dining, enter museums, gyms or other public venues
Angry protesters demonstrated against the bill in thousands of numbers and clashed with police forces armed with tear gas and water cannons
In Greece, around 4,000 people protested outside of the parliament demonstrating against the mandatory vaccinations for Covid-19
While many countries around the world grapple with the shortage of vaccines, protests against it by these European countries comes as a shock.
