Part of the wine is aged in oak barrels. The wine is sealed with a Stelvin screw cap, made by the French company Pechiney, to preserve the fragrance and qualities obtained in the vineyard and then the cellar.
Jermann established a protocol named BJO (Bio+Jermann), which is a commitment to sustainability and aims to safeguard the environment for future generations. Currently 20 hectares are included under BJO and employ organic farming methods such as banning the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides.
