INGREDIENTS
Brioche bread
2 eggs
1/4 cup of Oat milk (or half cup depending on amount of bread)
1 tablespoon of cinnamon
1 table spoon of nutmeg
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of butter
2 tablespoon of brown sugar
Straw berries
Blue berries
Maple Syrup
1 tablespoon of powdered sugar (optional for garnish)
UTENSILS
Spatula
Whisk
Strainer
Directions
1. Pour your milk into a bowl. Crack two eggs and whisk them in with the milk. Add your cinnamon and sugar and whisk for about 30 seconds. Then whisk in your teaspoon of vanilla extract.
2. Once everything is mixed together turn your non stick sauce pan to a medium heat.
When your pan is hot add your butter and brown sugar. Let the brown sugar caramelize for like a minute. Then dip your bread in the milk and egg mixture on both sides. Add your bread to pan and let it cook until it is brown on both sides. Once our bread is brown remove it from the pan and plate it.
3. Next grab your fruit and lay it on top of the french toast. take the powdered sugar and pour it over a strainer and sprinkle onto your french toast. Top it with maple syrup if you’d like.
3. All of these toppings are completely OPTIONAL. You do not have to add any of them. You can eat the french toast however you like.
