Hello again, fellow lovely wine-dabblers! Today we get back to wines from around the world by visiting the village of Minervois!
We will be trying Benjamin Darnault’s 2019 Minervois!
I have said it before and I will say it again, French is not my forte. However, I will keep trying to pronounce French words much to the chagrin of those who speak fluent French because there’s a lot of amazing French wine to be had. I didn’t need to tell you that, of course.
Minervois is a village/region within a region which has really stepped up in recent years in terms of its wines. There are both whites and reds grown and made in this region, but I will be focusing on the reds because we don’t open enough red wines on this channel.
If you like French wine but you’re intimidated by it like I am, join me as we try an affordable bottle of Minervois red wine!
