How to make Crispy French fries – Restaurant Style at home like McDonald’s and Restaurant style

French fries are served hot, either soft or crispy, and are generally eaten as part of lunch or dinner or by themselves as a snack, and they commonly appear on the menus of diners, fast food restaurants. They are usually salted and, depending on the country, may be served with ketchup, vinegar, mayonnaise, tomato sauce, or other local specialties.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Firstly,peel the skin of potato.
2. Cut into 1 cm thick sticks.
3. Rinse in ice cold water until the starch runs out clean.
4. Pat dry in kitchen towel to remove excess moisture.
5. Now deep fry in hot oil. make sure the oil is approximately 140 degree Celsius
6. Deep fry for 6 minutes or until the potatoes turn tender. they will not go brown at this stage.
7. Drain off over kitchen towel and cool completely. if you are looking to freeze the potatoes, then you can freeze the fries in zip lock bag upto 3 months.
8. Once they are cooled completely, deep fry in hot oil. make sure the oil is approximately 180 degree celcius.
9. Stir occasionally and fry until it turns golden brown and crisp.
10. Drain off to remove excess oil.
11.Now sprinkle ½ tsp chilli powder and ½ tsp salt. mix well.

finally, enjoy homemade french fries with eggless mayonnaise as an evening snack.
