Five cellars, 900 families and 28 appellations. This is an association of the greats in the world of wine. In the southernmost part of Burgundy and the neighbouring area of Beaujolais, five cooperative cellars have merged to better compete in the global wine market.
Alliance de Vignerons Bourgogne Beaujolais (AVB) is one step bigger, creating in 2013 an umbrella organization that includes five cooperative cellars from Maconnais in the north to Beaujolais in the south.
