Today I have make Rabanadas with red wine.
Its indispensable in Portugal in the Christmas time !
Rabanadas are commonly enjoyed as a dessert or afternoon treat, rather than as a breakfast food. The bread is soaked in wine, dipped in egg, and then deep-fried in oil and after they are usually sprinkled with cinnamon sugar.
👉🏼 Ingredients :
1 loaf of bread (baguette) – from the day before
500ml of red wine
1 orange (the rind of)
1 stick of cinnamon
4 eggs
some oil (for frying)
for garnishing :
some white sugar
some cinnamon powder
some red Port wine
