In this episode of our New Orleans food vlog we are visiting Pho Cam Ly to sample their Banh Mi or Vietnamese po’boys, Banh Gap or Vietnamese tacos and their delicious Pho noodle soup. Pho Cam Ly is located on the busy economic corridor of Magazine Street in the Uptown neighborhood area of New Orleans at 3814 Magazine Street which is about 19 minutes and 3.5 miles away from the French Quarter. Pho Cam Ly is a great spot for New Orleans traditional Vietnamese food that I have been eating at for many years and in this episode of our travel vlog feast with me on Vietnamese po-boys (banh mi), tacos (banh gap) and Vietnamese soup (pho). The greater New Orleans area has a significant Vietnamese population and we have been having an explosion of great Vietnamese restaurants opening up in the area offering great traditional Vietnamese food along with a bit of New Orleans twist often being added. Pho Cam Ly is one of my favorite spots for traditional Vietnamese food and I really enjoy the Vietnamese soup known as pho that is offered in many varieties here and they also make great Vietnamese po boys known as banh mi. The Vietnamese po boy New Orleans offerings often include many interesting things inside them and if you are visiting New Orleans the Banh Mi at Pho Cam Ly is a must do item to add to your list.
