For the recipe referenced in today’s video:

QUICK TIPS WE LEARNED AFTER TEST:
1. Don’t burn your corn flakes in the oven for the first step (ahem Jina). Plus they’ll cook extra on the griddle.
2. The sugar mixture says to heat the sugar with water and cream of tartar, let us tell you it will seize up and you’ll think you messed up but don’t fret it will start carmelizing after 5 minutes.
4. After mixing sugar mixture with cereal, even after cooling for 2 hours it’s not going to be crisp like you think. It will be crunchy but still pliable. So that step where you crush before coating your bread, make sure to really break it up into small pieces.
4. Don’t make your griddle too hot because the homemade cinnamon toast crunch cereal you make is going to burn before the bread is ready.
5. Keep a close eye on it, it will burn easily.
