Ingredients:
1 Loaf of french bread (does not need to be fresh, just not moldy!)
8 eggs
1 cup of canned coconut milk – unsweetened
4 tbs of butter – melted
1 tbs vanilla
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt (I omitted)
Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/2 cold butter – cubed
1/2 cup Shredded coconut – sweetened or unsweetened
Syrup:
Equal parts of each ingredient: coconut milk, light corn syrup, granulated sugar
Use the leftover coconut milk from the can to determine the amount for the light corn syrup and granulated sugar.
