Ingredients
* 1 loaf crusty french bread
* 1 tbsp oil
* 1 lb minced beef
* 1 onion, chopped
* 3 cloves garlic minced
* 1/2 inch ginger minced
* 1 tbsp sriracha or hot chili sauce
* 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
* 3 tbsp ketchup
* Salt and pepper to taste
* 1 cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
Instructions
1. Remove top third of the loaf with a sharp knife. Remove the insides portions creating a boat. Try to leave about a half inch of bread all the way around.
2. Heat a skillet, Add minced meat and cook until browned approximately 5-7 minutes.Drain any extra fat and return back to the pot.
3. Reduce heat to low and add chopped onion, garlic and ginger minced. Sauté well for 2 minutes. Add chopped bell pepper and sauté for 2 minutes. Stir in sriracha, Worcestershire sauce, and ketchup. Simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Spoon beef mixture into French bread boat. Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted. Turn the broiler on the last minute of cooking just to brown the cheese and bread is crusty. Broil it for 2-3 minutes. Slice and enjoy immediately.
