Sightseeing in Japan Strawberry picking, jewelry hunter, winery, French restaurant
Crystals were mined in Yamanashi prefecture. Due to the development of polishing technology, various jewelry makers now exist. Today I went to an experience-based rough stone shop with my children.
Excavate gems in the sand. It’s like a treasure hunt. Children can dig up beautiful, transparent stones and take a cup with them.
Natural stone shop:
After finishing the natural stone hunting, I had a strawberry hunting experience. The children have just enjoyed the strawberries that are ready to eat. Here you can eat and compare 3 to 6 types of strawberries. You should make a reservation. Iijima Farm is recommended.

Lunch was French. Yamanashi Prefecture is also a villa area and is home to artists because of the wine production and the relatively low annual rainfall. So you can find a fashionable French restaurant. You should make a reservation. Because we called some restaurant candidates but they were already booked and full.
We were able to have a safe lunch at a restaurant that we finally booked two weeks ago. It was a restaurant that was renovated from the former mayor’s mansion, which was a lumber dealer. You can enjoy French organic vegetables quietly while looking at the Japanese-style garden. Freshly baked croissants and baguettes are also delicious!
