Here’s a super easy triple cheese French Onion soup. Slow cooked caramelized onions, toasted baguette topped with havarti, gouda and gruyere cheese. A nice cozy bowl for the cold weather. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
8 cups Beef broth
4 sprigs Thyme
3 Garlic cloves
1/4 cup Parsley
2 Bay leaf
2 tsp salt
1 tsp | 6-8 Pepper corns
4tbsp butter
2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Ground black pepper
3 pounds of (5 large) Yellow Onions
1 cup Dry sherry
1 tbsp bourbon
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Worcestershire
1 French Baguette
Gruyere cheese
Havarti cheese
Gouda cheese
Chives
