Today Becky shows us how to make French Onion Soup.
Ingredients: Part 1
4 Onions, sliced
2 Tbl Worcester Sauce
1 Tbl Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Thyme
4 Tbl of Butter
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Put everything above in a crockpot and cook on low for 8 hours.
Ingredients: Part 2
Crockpot Onion mixture
1 Cup of White Wine
1 carton of Beef Broth
1 French Baguette, sliced
Sliced Havarti Cheese, (at least 2 slices per bowl)
Salt & Pepper
Directions:
Put crockpot Onions, wine & Beef Broth in a pot. Season with Salt & Pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 mins. Add bread to bowls. Ladle soup over bread. Put cheese on top. Broil until melted and brown. Enjoy!
