How to Make French Onion Soup
Steps:
– First Chop up Onions (3-4)
– Then soak in Red Red Wine for 2-3 Hours
– Once Onions are ready get a stovetop pot and heat up olive oil
– Next Place Onions in Pot and simmer on medium heat for 15-20 Minutes while stirring onions occasionally
– Next, add 3 Tablespoons of sugar, 1 clove of minced garlic, and 2 Oz of butter
– Then Caramelize the onions for 20-25 Minutes while stirring onions occasionally
– Once Onions are Carmalized add beef broth at let simmer on low-medium heat for 15-20 Minutes
– While the soup is simmering take the bread and bake in the oven at 400 Degrees for 10 Minutes
– Once the bread is toasted place on top of the soup and place swiss cheese on top then put right back into the oven until cheese is melted
– Take out and enjoy your french onion soup!
