Wine Tasting 101 is an introductory course in wine appreciation with the Wine Gurus. Each scheduled session comprises a set of three 750ml wines and takes place live via Zoom.
Having got to grips with the whites during our previous Taste Lab Live session, in session 2 we rounded off the Wine Tasting 101 with three classic red varietals: Merlot, Sangiovese and Pinot Noir. This time we also looked at differences between New World and Old World wines by comparing two gems from France and Italy with a classic Californian Pinot.
